Our Story
Tau Chapter began January 27th, 1920 when an organization called Sigma Rho became Pi Kappa Phi. From that point, the Tau chapter of Pi Kappa Phi has been a beacon of excellence and success within NC State. Years passed as traditions and relationships flourished within our organization. After a temporary hiatus of Tau, the chapter was re-founded in 2018. Members joined together to build and create a respectful, high achieving, and accepting organization on NC State’s campus. After our re-charter in 2019, our chapter stands out in standards of excellence and achievement at North Carolina State and continues to exceed previously set expectations. The marathon continues.
